To Our Patients,

There is no question that Covid-19 has changed the way we live our lives. We thank you for joining us in taking great strides to keep our community safe from the transmission of the virus. We are excited to emerge from this crisis and provide you and your loved ones with the same quality care.

Your health and well-being continue to be our highest priority and we want you to feel comfortable and confident with our safety standards. We will continue to go above and beyond the minimum required to keep you and our team safe.

Some measures we will be taking to provide a safe dental treatment experience include but are not limited to the following:

Prior to your Appointment (when you receive your reminder call or text):

  • Patients will be sent a COVID questionnaire via email with a few simple questions to make sure they are healthy and symptom-free. Any patients not meeting safety requirements will be asked to reappoint in 2 weeks.

Upon Your Arrival at the Office:

  • Please wear a mask to your appointment per the recommendation of CDC and mandated by the Governor of Texas.

  • Anyone entering the office will be offered hand sanitizer.

  • Patients will have their temperature checked. Any patients showing signs of a fever (100.4 degrees or higher ) or have symptoms of illness will be asked to reschedule their appointment.

  • Only patients will be allowed entry into the office. Parents and other family members will be asked to wait outside whenever possible. We request that you limit the number of people you bring to the office to those with a scheduled appointment.

  • The waiting area has been spaced to allow 6 feet between people

  • We ask that you practice social distancing measures in common areas of the office, including the front desk.

  • There will be no physical contact with patients with the exception of what is required during treatment.

  • Magazines, coffee makers, toys, and similar items have been removed from the office to reduce opportunity for virus transmission.

  • As you enter the treatment room, you will be asked to use antibacterial mouth rinse for 30 seconds.

During Treatment:

  • All treatment rooms will be COMPLETELY disinfected to the highest standards before each patient is seated.

  • All treatment rooms have a Medify air purification unit - which is a medical grade air filtration system that cleans the air.

  • Our team strictly follows guidelines of CDC and ADA with regard to instrument and equipment sterilization.

  • During patient care., eye protection, face shields, and high filtration masks will be worn by everyone and will be sanitized between patients.

  • All treatment rooms will be cold fogged after each patient.

Team Safety:

  • The safety of our team is of paramount importance and we are instituting many new precautions to keep them healthy. They are also being screened everyday for any sign of illness.

  • We are requiring our team to wear masks at the front desk areas and in all other areas of the office.

  • Staff members are not allowed to congregate at any time while in the office.

  • We have installed plexiglass partitions in all administrative areas.

  • Our team is continually trained and updated on any and all CDC and ADA guidelines and changes.

We are proceeding with an abundance of caution so we that can continue to serve our patients and provide you with the necessary dental care you need while doing our part to avoid the spread of the virus. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We are excited to serve you and to rebuild our practice through these very difficult times.
